Triplewide Screens

Triplewide screens give churches a lot of bang for the buck.

With a slow economy and high gas prices church budgets are shrinking. Churches are now more than ever looking for creative ways to use their A/V budgets. A triplewide screen is a good way to achieve high impact graphics without breaking the bank. A typical installation utilizes 3- 1024x768 projectors edge blended to achieve one 3072x768 image. The brains behind the operation is a Matrox TripleHead2go graphics processor. The technology comes from extended desktop applications. When you combine the Matrox with Pro Presenter's Edge Blending module, you have a low cost high impact tool for worship. You can kick it up a notch by adding High Gain IMAG screens on the outside as shown in the image. This technology would easily cost over $50K a few years ago and require a high end graphics guru. Now you can be all in around $20K.
